We’ve Been Re-Invited for an Interview!
Greetings! You’re getting this because either you signed up to be on our prayer list, or in some cases, I might have signed you up😊. I know that most of you already know our story of how we came to the decision to pursue serving at Evergreen 75% of the time, and then also serving at Rock Nest Ranch 25% of the time, but in case you haven’t, you read our back story of this decision here.
Just last night we received a re-invitation to come for the official interview with UIM (that is the organization that oversees Rock Nest Ranch). The five of us are now scheduled to go to Arizona for the interview during the week of March 17-21. We will likely be flying, though we haven’t yet ruled out the possibility of driving. In addition to the interview, we will also receive a week of training that they call OTUS, which stands for Orientation to UIM Seminar. So we will be in class from 9:00-5:00 all that week to learn what it means to become a UIM Missionary.
We are excited to officially become a part of this ministry to First Nations kids, teens, and families. It’s hard to believe that I have been involved in this ministry for the last 28 years, and I’m looking forward to seeing how the Lord might use us, as a family, to bring the hope of Jesus to those who are and will be connected to Rock Nest Ranch. Thanks so much for praying for us as we pursue this new path!
If you have any questions, feel free to ask! There is certainly still a lot we are figuring out, and that will continue to be true fora while as we make this transition.
