Almost Ready!

We are just 9 days away from our upcoming trip to Arizona for our official interview with UIM, as well as a week of training and learning about the organization. Honestly it feels a little surreal. It was July of 2023 when I unexpectedly felt the Lord stirring my heart to perhaps be more significantly involved at Rock Nest, but I really didn’t have any idea what He had in store for our family in making this big consideration.

Personally, I (Ryan) am way over-anxious about the week of training. I think it’s largely because I feel so “in the dark” about what to expect for the week. But also I know it will be a significant moment in time as we really, really figure out if this is the next stage of ministry life for us. So I’m working to trust the Lord and let go of my wishes for control and clarity. But it isn’t coming very easy, and it isn’t sticking very long, so I’m needing to keep asking for help.

Physical Needs – Can you help?

• We need a ride to the airport on Saturday, March 15 at 7:20 AM, in a vehicle that can fit all five of us, plus our luggage.
• Similarly, we need a ride home from the airport on Tuesday, March 25 around 4:30 PM. We’re planning to return with the same number of people:).

Prayer Needs

• Internal calm rather than anxiousness over a lack of control / clarity.
• That we go with humble hearts, ready and eager to learn.
• That our girls would be blessed by this unique time of considering our future as a family.
